The Building Museum is a rebranding of the National Building Museum located in Washington, DC. The title of the museum acted as such a strong metaphor for its own function that I decided to extend the use of metaphor into every visual action for the institution. The repetitious nature of the logo adds a material presence to something otherwise purely typographic. Along with this project, I created a fictitious exhibition focusing on architectural theory and architectural criticism. The project, titled The Piling of the City can be found here.
